Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) in Sacramento, California. This role involves providing assessment, treatment, and evaluation for patients with various speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The position requires collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care and ensure patient safety and privacy.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days, 8-hour shifts
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
- Start Date: 08/31/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and CA Speech-Language Pathologist License, valid California State Driver's License and auto insurance, at least 2 years of professional experience, familiarity with inpatient settings, and experience with patients experiencing cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in home health care, patient and family education, and recognizing signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.
- Additional Information: The candidate will assess, treat, and evaluate patients, collaborate with the healthcare team, supervise assistants and aides, and serve as a clinical instructor for students. Prior experience in inpatient or trauma-level units is advantageous. All candidates must complete onboarding labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide verified work history and references within 7 days prior to starting.
- Submission Requirements: Upload current Nursys license verification, applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, and two references obtained within the last year.
