Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy services to patients, evaluating communication and swallowing disorders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records using EPIC.
• Conduct assessments for patients with neuro, critical care, and trauma diagnoses.
• Cover acute care areas as required, ensuring qualified patient management.
• Meet department requirements for weekend and orientation scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Speech Language Pathology license.
• Certified Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required.
• Ability to manage a caseload of 7-8 patients per 8-hour day.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
