OverviewSpeech Language Pathologist – Acute Care, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This travel temporary assignment starts on 09/07/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,232 to $2,285, with guaranteed 35 hours per week. Shift is 08:00–16:30. Setting: skilled nursing facility.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,232–$2,285 per week- Guaranteed hours: 35 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 08:00–16:30- Start date: 09/07/2026- Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (travel assignment)Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, voice, and cognitive-communication assessments for patients in an acute care and SNF setting.- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication and swallowing disorders.- Provide direct therapy services to patients with dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, and related conditions; use evidence-based methods.- Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment goals, and outcome measures; ensure compliance with privacy and coding standards.- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, physicians, OT/PT, dietitian) to coordinate care, discharge planning, and safety considerations.- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to support communication and safe swallowing; train staff as needed.Requirements- Active Speech-Language Pathology license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility for PA licensure)- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and participate in an interdisciplinary team- Strong assessment, planning, and documentation skills- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with patients, families, and colleagues- Comfort with travel-based assignments and adherence to shift schedules and facility policiesBenefits and Support- Dedicated recruiter and travel support- Credentialing and onboarding assistance- Scheduling and payroll support- Ongoing assignment support throughout the contractFind more opportunitiesInterested candidates are invited to apply for this and other openings at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
