Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel contract in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders while developing individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities - Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver quality patient care.
Requirements - Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, if applicable.
- Current BLS certification (if required).
- Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or outpatient experience preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
