Job Summary: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient Grand Island, Nebraska. This position involves providing speech therapy services across multiple locations, including skilled nursing facilities and home health settings. The role requires flexibility to cover various sites and necessitates collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
Job Details:
Schedule: Monday through Friday, with the ability to work a shifted schedule from Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, total of 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology program preferred; current BLS certification; minimum of 2 years of experience; Nebraska state licensure, and ability to communicate effectively in English.
Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience in a rehabilitation or geriatrics setting preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information:
Coverage at Grand Island, Hastings, and Kearney locations, including skilled nursing facilities and home health settings, approximately 2-3 days per week at each site.
The position may involve supervising therapy assistants per regulations and documenting appropriately.
The clinician will utilize Net Health and HCHB software and will receive onsite training.
This role involves administering and performing therapeutic interventions, assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and maintaining confidentiality.
The position requires physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate various equipment, with moderate noise levels expected.
The start date is August 24, 2026, with a targeted date to begin as soon as possible.
Certification in BLS is required; licensure must be submitted.
