Position Description: Providing speech-language therapy services to patients with neuro, orthopedic, and debility diagnoses in an inpatient unit. Responsibilities include assessments, treatment planning, and intervention for a patient population with cognitive and speech impairments.
Additional Information: Experience in an Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) setting and ability to conduct swallow studies are preferred. The unit has 12 beds, with a patient nurse ratio of 1 to 5-6. Equipment used includes Sara steady, Hoyer lift, and parallel bars, with documentation in EPIC and Nethealth. Candidates should be able to work with an interdisciplinary team.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must hold appropriate licensure, and the position begins on 10/26/2026, ending on 01/25/2027, with a start date allowing for a flexible transition.
