Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in a rehabilitation and skilled nursing setting. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in adult and geriatric patients.
This role is best suited for clinicians experienced in structured rehab environments who can adapt treatment plans to varying patient needs while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing function
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment as needed
Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OT, PT, nursing, and physicians
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with safety and clinical care standards

Shift: Day Shift
Shift Time: 08:00 16:30
Schedule: As Assigned (Facility may offer 30 35 guaranteed hours)
Contract Length: Approximately 15 Weeks
Requirements
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
ASHA certification preferred (if applicable)
Prior rehabilitation or skilled nursing experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Must comply with facility onboarding requirements
Must bring state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
