Description:
The Speech-Language Pathologist provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to support communication, language, speech, fluency, voice, and swallowing needs.
The SLP evaluates clients and develops individualized treatment plans.
Services include direct and consultative support, delivered in various formats.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to support communication outcomes.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations using standardized and informal tools.
Treatment plans are created based on assessment results and IEP goals as needed.
Documentation of evaluation reports, progress notes, and treatment plans is required.
Promotes inclusive and accessible communication environments across all settings.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in educational or clinical settings is valuable.
Training in assistive technology, early language development, or supports for diverse needs is advantageous.
A strong focus on collaboration and effective communication skills is desirable.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued in this role.
