Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $2,206 per week in Albemarle, NC

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Allied Specialty: Rehab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours (0800 - 1700) Experience: Minimum of 1 year Home Health experience required License: Driver's License and proof of Insurance required Certifications: Home Care Home Base EMR experience required Must-Have: Self-motivation, able to work independently, great time management, able to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team Description: This position involves home health visits for speech therapy. The role requires completing an average of 6 visits per day. Therapists are expected to complete 30 visit equivalents per week. There is not a maximum mileage, with average driving around 60-80 miles a day. Mileage is reimbursed weekly. Patient types include adults with cognitive issues, tracheostomy needs, difficulty swallowing, strokes, and aphasia. All candidates must have Home Care Home Base EMR experience. Communication with a clinical team is essential. A company cell phone will be provided for documentation and patient communication. Scheduling of appointments will occur the day prior to the visit. Canceled appointments do not count toward visit equivalents. Additional support within the department includes leadership, schedulers, clinical managers, supervisors, and peers. Team-oriented culture with no weekend rotation and no call requirements. Request for time off must be approved by management.
