Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: SLP Specialty: Speech Pathology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Sunday - Thursday Hours per Shift: 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Yes Certifications: BLS Certification, CCC-SLP, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: Independence in bedside swallow evaluation and follow-up; communication evaluation and follow-up; outpatient standardized test administration Description: Floating is required to multiple facilities. Candidates may not have worked full-time, part-time, or PRN within the past year. COVID vaccination is mandatory. Department outlines a patient treatment average of 7-8 per day in outpatient setting or a combination of 4 outpatient and 3-4 inpatient cases. Common diagnoses include post-concussion, CVA, TBI, head and neck cancer, acute inpatient cases, and skills related to outpatient care. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is required. Weekend shifts are not required. Holiday shifts are not required. Scrubs should be dark blue or black. Department-specific orientation is provided. Hospital has a cancellation policy allowing up to 4 shifts to be canceled per 13-week assignment. Charting is conducted using an electronic system. Trauma level care setting is involved.
