New Graduates welcome with Level II experience, not just Level I observation experience.
3 years experience holding active CCS - Preferred

Description:
Effectively screens, evaluates, and rehabilitates patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
Develops an appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
Utilizes standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
Assesses patient progress and adjusts treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness.
Modifies services based on patient evaluations and makes referrals according to outcomes.
Provides consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers related to speech disorders.
Effectively communicates with the supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans.
Provides a comprehensive discharge summary of services rendered in compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.
Documents all required information in the electronic system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
Accurately records treatment minutes for services provided in compliance with all regulatory and clinical requirements.
Participates in required meetings, including patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and rehabilitation meetings.
Engages in facility and company-required training, in-services, and conferences.
Able to obtain any necessary DME or supplies in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
Supervises and supports CFY or Student Speech-Language Pathologists.
Adheres to ASHA and state required practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
