Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $2,486 per week in Monroe, MI

Job Title: Speech Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: SLP Pediatrics Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in an acute care setting required. License: Must have a valid state license. Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP required. Must-Have: Epic charting experience required. Description: Schedule is flexible. Options include 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts. No weekend shifts are required. You will provide therapy to infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients. The average number of visits per day is nine. The documentation system used is Wellsky/Epic. You will work collaboratively with physical therapy and interpretation services. Patient diagnoses may include autism, language disorders, developmental delays, and birth defects. You will be responsible for patient and family education. Billable documentation includes assessment, discharge, evaluation, and plan of care. You must recognize signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse. Travelers are expected to float to other units and facilities as needed. All candidates must provide two references from within the last 24 months. Candidates must be aware of background check requirements that may take several weeks. Schedules can be adjusted with two weeks' notice to maintain balance.
