Key Responsibilities of the Speech Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist- Support acute care ADULT patients from physician orders throughout the hospital
- Manage a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive issues
Requirements of the Speech Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist- Min of 15-18 months of recent experience within speech therapy specialty
- GA License for SLP & CCC-SLP
- Required AHA BLS certification
- Prior acute care experience desirable; MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus but not required
