Acute Care, Cerebral Vascular Accident, Hospital, Intensive Care, Medical Diagnosis, Neurology, Patient Care, Speech and Language Pathology
- Local candidates only.
- Schedule: 8:00 am 4:30 pm, varied days.
- Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks; 4 weekends per 4 weeks preferred.
- 13-week assignment in the 717C Speech Therapy department.
- Minimum 15 18 months of recent experience in Speech Language Pathology specialty required.
- BLS certification required.
- Valid Georgia (GA) SLP license required; CCC-SLP preferred.
- Prior acute care experience highly desirable.
- MBS/FEES proficiency is a plus, but not required.
- Provide speech therapy for acute care patients throughout the hospital per physician orders.
- Support patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU patients, stroke/neurological conditions, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, cognitive impairments, etc.W
