Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist- Provide general speech therapy in the NICU
- Conduct feeding therapy for fragile feeders
- Perform preemie neuro assessments
- Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team
- Utilize specific unit equipment and EMR systems
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist- Minimum of 3 years of experience plus 1 year in NICU
- BLS certification
- CCC certification through ASHA
- Advanced training in infant feeding required
- Certified neonate therapist preferred
