Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 14-week contract assignment in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a rehabilitation setting.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans and help patients achieve optimal communication and functional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing function
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
Educate patients and families on treatment strategies and progress
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Ensure compliance with regulatory and facility standards
Support discharge planning and continuity of care
