Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
We are seeking a qualified Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an assignment in a healthcare setting. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while supporting rehabilitation goals and maintaining compliance with clinical standards.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
Provide therapy for speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Implement treatment plans and select appropriate therapy modalities to meet established goals.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety.
Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for continued care.
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with facility guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Maintain department productivity standards.
Provide thorough, timely, and professional patient care.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
Knowledge of speech therapy treatment techniques and rehabilitation programs
Required: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Required: Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of assignment or ability to obtain
Required: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification
Preferred: Previous speech therapy or healthcare experience
