Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are seeking a qualified Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an assignment in a healthcare setting. The SLP will evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders while supporting rehabilitation goals and maintaining compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans.

  • Provide therapy for speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

  • Implement treatment plans and select appropriate therapy modalities to meet established goals.

  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.

  • Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies and swallowing safety.

  • Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for continued care.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in accordance with facility guidelines.

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Maintain department productivity standards.

  • Provide thorough, timely, and professional patient care.

Required Skills

Education
  • Required: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Licensure / Certification

  • Required: American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification

Experience
  • Preferred: Previous speech therapy or healthcare experience
