Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist- Conduct assessments to determine patient needs and potential
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and medical staff
- Utilize Epic/EMR software for accurate documentation
Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist- Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology
- Current NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Eligible for or holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (ASHA)
- Proficient with MS Office and Epic/EMR software
- Knowledge of the PDPM reimbursement system
