KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment findings
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team including physicians, OT, PT, and nursing staff
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers
- Participate in discharge planning and care coordination
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
- Active California SLP licence (or compact licence eligibility) current and in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- CPR/BLS certification current
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience in post-acute rehabilitation, SNF, or outpatient rehab setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records in a rehabilitation environment
