Job Title: Speech Language Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: SLP Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Current SLP License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Current Driver's License and Auto Insurance, Home Health experience preferred Description: Provides assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Assists with clinical supervision of assistants and aides and serves as a clinical instructor for assigned students. Skills include Home Health Care, Patient/Family Education, and knowledge of signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse.
