AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Santa Clara, New Mexico, 88026!
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. The SLP will provide comprehensive speech and language services to patients, evaluating and treating communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of professional SLP experience and previous PCC experience. Candidates should be patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to providing high-quality, individualized care.

Hours:8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders as appropriate
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical needs
Provide therapeutic interventions designed to improve communication, swallowing function, and overall independence
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, compensatory techniques, and home programs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements
Utilize PCC effectively for clinical documentation and patient records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Participate in care planning and discharge planning as appropriate
Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered treatment environment
Provide compassionate care while working toward individualized patient goals
Requirements
Required: Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Required: Active SLP license in the state of practice or ability to obtain
Required:Minimum 1 year of professional SLP experience
Required:Previous PCC experience
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), where applicable
Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Important Start Requirement
Candidates must arrive in New Mexico at least 48 hours prior to the assignment start date to complete required fingerprinting.
Applicants should plan their travel accordingly to ensure all required pre-employment requirements are completed before their start date.
