Conflux Systems is seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Position Details
Location: Scottsbluff, NE
Contract: 13 Weeks
️ Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional weekend coverage
Daily Caseload: 7–10 Patients
EMR: Epic
Completion Bonus:$2,500
Patient Population
As a member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide evaluation and treatment services for patients with a variety of conditions, including:
- Stroke (CVA)
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Parkinson's Disease
- Trauma Recovery
- Post-Intubation Rehabilitation
- Cognitive & Communication Evaluations
- Home Safety Assessments
- Dysphagia Evaluations and Swallow Studies
This position includes a mix of Acute Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation patients, offering a dynamic and rewarding clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing function.
- Perform cognitive evaluations and recommend safe discharge plans.
- Conduct bedside swallow evaluations and instrumental swallow assessments as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and case managers.
- Document patient evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately using Epic EMR.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist License in the State of Nebraska (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Experience in Acute Care and/or Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in cognitive, neurological, and dysphagia rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills.
