Key Responsibilities of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist:- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluations
- Deliver therapeutic interventions in alignment with patient goals
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with healthcare teams and maintain detailed documentation
- Utilize therapeutic tools and technology effectively
- Stay informed on industry standards and best practices
Requirements of the Travel Speech Language Pathologist:- Active Connecticut SLP license (required)
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (required)
- CCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required
- Current BLS certification (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and clinical skills
- Experience in healthcare, school, or outpatient settings (preferred)
