Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - $3,552 per week in Syracuse, NY

Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Profession: Speech Language Pathologist Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Duration: 17 weeks Shift: AM (08:00 – 16:30) Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Outpatient and Acute experience required License: NYS licensure in Speech Pathology required Certifications: Clinical certification in Speech Pathology required Must-Have: Master's Degree in Speech Pathology; completion of clinical fellowship year required; must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance Description: The Speech Language Pathologist will administer evaluations and diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders. They will establish and provide treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language, cognitive, voice, and/or swallowing disorders. The SLP is responsible for scheduling patients for evaluation and treatments based on their needs. They will provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding disorders of speech, language, cognition, voice, and/or swallowing. Participation in program development for the speech therapy discipline, PM&R department, and service line is expected. The SLP will prepare reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies. Participation in community programs is also required.
