Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Tacoma, WA
We are currently seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week travel assignment in Tacoma, Washington.
Location: Tacoma, WA
Shift: Days | Tuesday–Saturday | 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks
⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Setting: Acute Care / Outpatient
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up treatments
- Conduct communication evaluations and therapy sessions
- Administer standardized outpatient testing
- Treat patients with conditions including CVA, TBI, post-concussion, and head & neck cancer
- Provide care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Unit Details:
- EPIC charting system
- Level II Trauma Center & Certified Primary Stroke Center
- Average patient load: 7–8 outpatient patients daily or mixed inpatient/outpatient caseload
