Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Days | 5 Days, 8 Hours/Day | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Projected Start: 07/27/2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine, test, diagnose, and administer remedial treatments for patients with speech, language, hearing, and oral motor disorders
  • Evaluate patients and apply a wide variety of therapeutic techniques for rehabilitation, including receptive and expressive language skills, speech fluency, vocal and oral motor competence, articulation, and auditory skills
  • Record speech samples and conduct phonetic analyses of speech ability; document test results and recommend remedial treatment plans
  • Interpret and carry out physician prescriptions; receive and write verbal orders from physicians, nurse practitioners, and/or physician assistants in accordance with practice act guidelines
  • Maintain active communication with patients regarding progress, home programs, and issues related to the therapeutic process
  • Assist with direction, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of supportive staff, volunteers, and students utilized in the department
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program; Bachelor's Degree required
  • Must hold or be eligible for state licensure in Speech Language Pathology; license must be presented prior to employment
  • American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) membership card required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred; new graduates accepted and CFY supervision may be arranged
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Prior clinical experience in a therapy or rehabilitation setting
  • Experience working with diverse patient populations across a range of speech, language, and hearing disorders
