Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month | Approximately 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, hours may vary) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide speech-language pathology services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment findings
Document patient progress and clinical notes using the facility's EMR system (ProTouch)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient rehabilitation and recovery goals
Required Qualifications
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of New Mexico
Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
Proficiency or ability to quickly learn ProTouch EMR
Ability to work a schedule of Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) environment
Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment in a medically complex patient population
Previous travel assignment experience
