Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
LocationAlbuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month | Approximately 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, hours may vary) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech-language pathology services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment findings
- Document patient progress and clinical notes using the facility's EMR system (ProTouch)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient rehabilitation and recovery goals
Required Qualifications- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn ProTouch EMR
- Ability to work a schedule of Monday–Friday with one weekend day per month
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) environment
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment in a medically complex patient population
- Previous travel assignment experience
