Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | Full-Time | 5x8-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Onsite | Every third weekend required | Holidays required as scheduled
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Provide therapeutic interventions with a focus on TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) populations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and clinical goals
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support comprehensive patient rehabilitation
Required Qualifications- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of Maryland
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience with a strong skillset; 3 years preferred
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association only)
- Willingness and ability to work every third weekend and holidays as scheduled
- Must maintain a permanent address 50 or more miles from the facility location
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience working with TBI and CVA patient populations
- Prior travel therapy experience; first-time travelers will be considered
- Comfort floating within scope of practice as needed
