Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to home health patients within the assigned region
• Complete patient visits in accordance with a weekly point-based scheduling system (32–34 points required per week; each visit is valued at 1 point)
• Document all patient interactions and clinical notes using Wellsky charting software
• Call in to report all missed visits and instances where evaluation frequency cannot be met or patient contact is unsuccessful
• Adhere to professional dress standards: clean scrubs, closed-toe shoes, and minimal facial jewelry (small nose stud and earrings permitted)
• Drive time is factored into scheduling; overtime may be available if drive time causes hours to exceed 40 per week

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent licensed SLP experience (private duty experience does not qualify; new graduates are not eligible)
• Home health experience required; first travel assignment considered if home health background is present
• BLS and First Aid certifications required
• Candidates are strongly encouraged to research and secure housing prior to submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with Wellsky or similar home health EMR platforms
• Familiarity with home health visit structures and point-based productivity models
• Experience working in a travel or multi-site clinical setting
