Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating weekends approximately one shift per month

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with multiple diagnoses including swallowing disorders and speech-language impairments within an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) Studies utilizing specialized equipment including MBS Suite, Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, and Bioness BITs
• Manage a caseload with patient ratios of approximately 1:8–10 on a 44-bed inpatient rehab unit
• Collaborate as part of a small, team-oriented speech therapy staff on the day shift
• Assist with rotating weekend coverage, typically one shift per month
• Float to acute hospital areas as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia State Speech-Language Pathology License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with an adult medical population
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in neurological rehabilitation settings
• Prior inpatient rehabilitation experience
• Patient-focused, team-oriented, and adaptable work style
