Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and clinical findings
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards

Required Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA required
• Active and unrestricted Nevada SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current BLS/CPR certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care environment
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment, including modified barium swallow studies
• Familiarity with MDS documentation and Medicare/Medicaid billing requirements
