Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluation findings
- Monitor and document patient progress toward established therapy goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home programs
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract therapy experience
- Familiarity with MDS documentation and skilled nursing facility workflows
