Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment and clinical goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and family members on therapeutic techniques and home programs
Required Qualifications- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in the state of North Carolina
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience with MDS assessments and skilled nursing documentation requirements
- Familiarity with dysphagia evaluation and treatment protocols
