CPR Certification, English Language, Healthcare, Patient Assessment, Speech and Language Pathology, Swallowing Disorders, Training/Teaching, Treatment Plan
Pay Rate: $78 / hour
Shift details:
- Sunday-Saturday
- 20hrs/week
Job Duties:
- Evaluate patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide speech and language therapy sessions
- Help improve communication, pronunciation, and comprehension
- Treat swallowing and feeding difficulties
- Teach alternative communication methods (e.g., devices, gestures)
- Educate patients and families
- Document patient progress and update records
- Collaborate with healthcare or school teams
- Adjust therapy plans based on patient needs
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- A valid and current license issued by the state of NY
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.
