CPR Certification, Healthcare, Medical Terminology, Patient Care, Patient Education, Project Tracking, Speech and Language Pathology, Swallowing Disorders, Training/Teaching, Treatment Plan
Pay Rate: $59 / hour
Duties:
- Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide speech and language therapy sessions
- Help improve communication, pronunciation, and comprehension
- Treat swallowing and feeding difficulties
- Teach alternative communication methods (devices, gestures)
- Educate patients and families
- Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans
- Document patient care and outcomes
- Work with healthcare or school teams
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of VA
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
