Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) | Onsite | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week | One Weekend per Month Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to adult patients in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Evaluate and treat patients with neurological conditions, Parkinson's disease, debility, stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, and related diagnoses
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's recovery goals
• Document patient progress and clinical findings using UDS and Cerner electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life

Required Qualifications

• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• Proficiency or ability to learn UDS and Cerner EHR platforms

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with neurological and Parkinson's-related speech and swallowing disorders
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment with a collaborative, relaxed demeanor
