Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment strategies
Required Qualifications- Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Montana (or eligibility to obtain)
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or eligibility
- Experience providing SLP services in a clinical or long-term care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience working in a veterans care, long-term care, or skilled nursing facility environment
- Familiarity with dysphagia evaluation and treatment protocols
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation systems
