Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday (flexible shifted schedules available)
Key Responsibilities- Administer and perform therapeutic interventions; assess clients' needs and develop individualized plans of care
- Document observations, services provided, and clinical records in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
- Notify physicians of changes in client condition and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Train clients, family members, and staff on therapeutic interventions and equipment use
- Provide coverage across skilled nursing facility (SNF) and home health settings across multiple locations
- Utilize appropriate infection control, safety standards, and bag techniques when using equipment
Required Qualifications- Completion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Active state licensure/certification for the state of Nebraska
- Basic speech-language pathology clinical skills
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and meet physical demands of the role
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a rehabilitation or geriatrics setting
- Familiarity with Net Health and/or HCHB documentation software
- Experience working in both SNF and home health environments
