Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical goals
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and in a timely manner using facility EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and support optimal outcomes
- Provide patient and family education related to communication and swallowing strategies
Required Qualifications- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Florida (no pending licenses considered)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience working in an LTACH or acute care hospital setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Pro-Touch EMR system
- Familiarity with LTACH patient populations and care protocols
- Strong interprofessional communication and collaboration skills
