Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday availability for ARU coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services across inpatient acute rehabilitation and long-term acute care (LTACH) settings as a shared position
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies independently
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an inpatient environment
- Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems (ProDoc/Rehab Connect and ProTouch)
- Float to additional affiliated ARU and LTACH facilities on an as-needed basis
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in an inpatient acute rehabilitation or LTACH setting
- Ability to perform MBS studies independently
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of clinical experience as an SLP
- Prior experience in both ARU and LTACH environments
- Familiarity with ProDoc/Rehab Connect and ProTouch EMR platforms
