    Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

    Location

    Houston, TX

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Saturday and Sunday availability for ARU coverage

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide speech-language pathology services across inpatient acute rehabilitation and long-term acute care (LTACH) settings as a shared position
    • Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies independently
    • Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in an inpatient environment
    • Document patient care accurately using facility EMR systems (ProDoc/Rehab Connect and ProTouch)
    • Float to additional affiliated ARU and LTACH facilities on an as-needed basis
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Texas
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
    • Experience in an inpatient acute rehabilitation or LTACH setting
    • Ability to perform MBS studies independently
    • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2 or more years of clinical experience as an SLP
    • Prior experience in both ARU and LTACH environments
    • Familiarity with ProDoc/Rehab Connect and ProTouch EMR platforms
