Travel - NICU Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate speech, language, and swallowing abilities of neonatal and pediatric patients with impairments resulting from premature birth, birth injuries, disease, or other causes
- Synthesize assessment data to establish individualized plans of care using evidence-based practice interventions and goals appropriate to patient age and development
- Perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies as part of dysphagia assessment and management
- Collaborate and interact with interdisciplinary care teams to implement and assess intervention programs
- Float across NICU, Pediatric, and Adult units as needed based on caseload demands
- Document clinical findings and progress accurately using the facility EMR system (Meditech Magic / Meditech Expanse)
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Neonatal (NICU) experience required
- Demonstrated competency in Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS)
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology
Preferred Experience / Skills- Pediatric clinical experience
- Adult patient care experience
