Position: Speech Language Pathologist (LTC – Long Term Care) SNSNSN
Location: Lancaster, Texas
Shift: Days – 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM typical LTC schedule)
Duration: 13 weeks
• Develop and implement individualized speech-language pathology treatment plans for LTC residents
• Treat swallowing disorders, including dysphagia management and aspiration risk reduction
• Address cognitive-communication deficits related to neurological and degenerative conditions
• Improve speech clarity, language comprehension, and functional communication skills
• Conduct bedside and facility-based evaluations of speech, language, and swallowing function
• Document patient progress and update care plans per facility and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to coordinate resident care
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and LTC facility guidelines for therapy services
• Provide education to residents, families, and caregivers regarding communication strategies and swallowing safety
