Provides diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services to patients with communication, cognitive and swallowing disorders. Adheres to state and federal regulatory license, certification and accrediting requirement guidelines. Serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Day Shift/ 8 hour work day, 5 days/week: will include 2-4 weekends per month (comp day given during week when working weekend shift) Requires inpatient/acute rehab/neuro (stroke/TBI) experience.Education and Work Degree or foreign equivalent: RequiredTwo years' speech language pathology experience: PreferredLicenses/ Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: RequiredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredAmerican Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): PreferredFacility Specific License/ Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: RequiredCertificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP): Required
