Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 8-Hour Shifts, 8:00–16:30)
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech-language pathology services within an acute care hospital setting
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and related disorders
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records using electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- May be reassigned to different departments or units as needed based on staffing requirements and qualifications
Required Qualifications- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital-based experience
- Acute care experience required
- Teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in a children's hospital setting
- Pediatric outpatient experience
- Pediatric rehabilitation facility experience
- Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience
