Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment and home strategies
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Florida
- Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar clinical setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in subacute rehabilitation, SNF, adult, or geriatric rehab populations
- Familiarity with documentation and compliance standards in a SNF environment
