    Speech Language Pathologist

    Location

    Ocala, Florida

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals
    • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as clinically appropriate
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to coordinate patient care
    • Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment and home strategies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active and unrestricted Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of Florida
    • Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or eligibility
    • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or similar clinical setting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in subacute rehabilitation, SNF, adult, or geriatric rehab populations
    • Familiarity with documentation and compliance standards in a SNF environment
