Key Responsibilities
- Upon physician referral, perform evaluations of speech, hearing, and swallowing difficulties, make preliminary diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
- Determine the need for individual or group therapy for each client
- Document client progress throughout the course of treatment
- Assist students in clinical rotations in meeting their objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
- Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire
- Knowledge of the normal development of speech, language, and hearing
- Ability to perform diagnostic tests for communication disorders and formulate treatment plans
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a patient and encouraging manner with clients, co-workers, and customers
