Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services within a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognitive-linguistic, and swallowing disorders
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately using facility EMR system (Protouch)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Float to sister facility unit as operationally required
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
- Ability to work a Monday through Friday schedule, 40 hours per week
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Protouch EMR system
- Seasoned clinical background with ability to manage a diverse acute patient population
