Contract (14 Weeks) | Days | 30 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home strategies

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred or required
• Graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Ability to fulfill a 14-week contract commitment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
• Experience with dysphagia evaluation and treatment
• Familiarity with Medicare documentation requirements in a SNF environment
