Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services within a 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation setting
• Evaluate and treat patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, spinal cord injury, amputation, trauma, and orthopedic injury
• Develop and implement individualized, patient-centered treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific rehabilitation needs
• Monitor and document patient progress throughout the recovery journey, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life

Required Qualifications

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in an inpatient rehabilitation or acute care setting
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred or required per facility standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) environment
• Experience treating patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, or neurological conditions
• Familiarity with dysphagia evaluation and treatment protocols
